What is the ALS Recertification Short Course?
The Advanced Life Support (ALS) recertification short course is aimed at experienced clinicians who have previously completed an ALS course and are regularly expected to attend to critically ill patients and manage cardiac arrests as part of their role. Current participation in a resuscitation team is recommended.
Candidates that do not regularly use the skills taught on the ALS course may find the additional practical and teaching sessions provided in the full-day ALS Recertification more beneficial.
Candidates that successfully pass this course will receive an Advanced Life Support provider certificate issued by the Resuscitation Council UK, valid for 4 years from the date of training.
