Last Friday we had a BLS / AED refresher course by Chris Armstrong. I have attended a variety of 1st Aid related courses over the last thirty years or so and spent some years as an Intensive Care Unit / Resuscitation Technician. I have to say that Chris is the best instructor I have ever had. His enthusiasm for the subject and confident manner was very impressive and the whole thing was delivered with just the right amount of humour. Chris is able to bring the most important points out making them completely memorable and has the ability to demystify the most complicated physiological facts. It was a real pleasure to attend this course and as a result I feel much more confident in using the AED if required although it is very different from the the Defibrillators I was used to.

I just wanted to thank Anne-Marie for the great afternoon we had today at our head office. We all really enjoyed the training we received. I have always used your service when I worked in surgeries in the surrey area.
My colleagues who were trained today for the first time by your organization commented on how good the session was compared to what they had received by other providers in their regions.

For over a year now, Back to Life has been providing a large part of the resuscitation training in this Trust. The arrangement has been to cover a prolonged period in which available staff numbers were not sufficient to the Trust's resuscitation service to do the job in house. Staffing levels are now such that the contract will be coming to an end.
I have been impressed by what Back to Life has done. They have provided a service that was superbly co-ordinated with the work of the resuscitation service here. The quality of the teaching and training has been excellent, as I can attest personally.
Jo Lawrence and I have taught together on a number of advanced courses before and during the contract here and I look forward to working with her again. I wish Back to Life well and would commend it to any organisation looking for trainers in resuscitation.

Dear Back 2 Life,
We received a 2 hour BLS/AED training session at our surgery yesterday. This was delivered by Chris and supported by Steve.
I would just like to say that we were very impressed by the training delivered. Steve made the session very applicable to us as a practice asking about how we worked and using our own equipment in demonstration. He really seemed to talk from experience with lots of useful hints and tips about the practicalities of real-life resuscitation. The session was very productive and enjoyable.
